First National Bank Russell County Open 2026 Draws are Now Released; Parking Information!
The 2026 CKTS Tour hits its 2nd-to-last stop this weekend (September 19-20) with the 3rd-annual First National Bank Russell County Open. This is the 8th stop on the 2026 Central Kentucky Tennis Series (CKTS) Tour where we are excited to welcome players from a wide area to Russell Springs this weekend at Russell County High School!
The draws for the 2026 First National Bank Russell County Open are now published with links to the draws here on our website. Tournament Director Nate McQueary has a great lineup of matches ready to roll. ALL TIMES LISTED ARE CENTRAL (aka “Slow Time”).
Access to the RCHS tennis courts will be from the Football Stadium parking lot at the First National Bank Athletic Complex. See the map below for the best driving/parking directions to the new RCHS courts. Players and spectators are asked NOT TO PARK uphill near the old tennis courts (now the new marching band practice area).
Please continue to check draws periodically for possible changes and corrections to pairings and times.
We appreciate your patience with all the other activities (and potential noise) that will be happening nearby: band practice, youth football games, soccer, etc. This may cause “competition” for parking spaces.
DIRECTIONS: Take Louie B. Nunn Parkway exit in the direction of Jamestown. If heading south on US 127 (toward Jamestown), you will go through the stoplight by the Auditorium/Natatorium Complex and then take the next left into campus (by the State Farm office). Proceed between the right side of the Middle school and Academic Center of Excellence building. Continue on, bearing right past the baseball stadium until you arrive at the football stadium parking lot. Available restrooms are right there at the football stadium on your walk to the tennis courts.
Players should check-in at the event at least 20-30 minutes early. [AGAIN, ALL TIMES ARE CENTRAL DAYLIGHT TIME.] Bring your preferred drinks to stay hydrated. Weather updates will come to players via SMS text.
PLEASE NOTE that some Sunday matches are NOT YET scheduled, pending the results of previous rounds in an effort to make Sunday scheduling more efficient.
ANOTHER IMPORTANT NOTE: All draws are SINGLE ELIMINATION despite some labels that may indicate otherwise.
Please also note that if you did not complete the online pre-payment process before the entry deadline, your registration may have been discarded.
