The 2021 CKTS season continues this weekend (June 26-27) in Glasgow, Kentucky with the annual Barren Classic. After a highly-successful opening tournament in Bowling Green two weeks ago, the Central Kentucky Tennis Series is excited for its second event of the season, and for the nearly 145 players who are competing with us this weekend.
The draws for 2021 Barren Classic are now published with a link to the draws here on our website. Matches will be held at Barren County High School and nearby Gorin Park. Players will report directly to their play site listed on the draws. Tournament Director and BCHS Tennis Coach Trina Rickard has a great lineup of matches ready to roll.
Please note that some Sunday matches are NOT YET scheduled, pending the results of previous rounds in an effort to make Sunday scheduling more efficient.
IMPORTANT NOTE: There is a construction project happening on the BC campus. Driving in, it may be best to turn-in at the Middle School, then head toward the high school, taking a right turn behind the Trojan Academy before walking up to the courts (Trojan Academy is between the Middle School and High School).
Our online registration and payment system continues to improve, although there have been some minor issues with the Family memberships. For the few of you who were not able to successfully submit payment online this time, please be prepared to pay your fees upon arrival at the tournament.
If you purchased a CKTS membership or TourPass, please request your CKTS t-shirt this weekend from Trina or Chris. As always, CKTS memberships and TourPasses can be purchased online at any time 24/7.
We look forward to a great time of tennis this weekend in Glasgow!
