Alton Blakley Lake Cumberland Open 2025 Draws are Now Released
The 2025 CKTS season continues this weekend (August 2-3) in Somerset, Kentucky with the annual Alton Blakley Lake Cumberland Open. This is the 5th stop on the 2025 Central Kentucky Tennis Series Tour after the rain-dodging event in Danville two weekends ago. We are excited to have 115 participants competing in our event this weekend.
The draws for 2025 Alton Blakley Lake Cumberland Open are now published with a link to the draws here on our website. Matches will be held at Somerset High School, Southwestern High School, and the newly-resurfaced Pulaski County High School courts. As always, maps are available for each location on this tournament’s page. Players will report directly to their play site listed on the draws. ALL TIMES ARE EASTERN (aka “Fast Time”).
This tournament is directed by Allison Sobieck, with the help of the volunteers at the Lake Cumberland Tennis Association. They are working very hard to make sure that this event is a great experience for all. During select finals matches there will also be ball crews!
Players should report directly to their play site listed on the draws at least 20 minutes early. [AGAIN, ALL TIMES ARE EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME.] However, the tournament shirts are all to be picked up at the Somerset High site. Water will be available, or bring your own drinks to stay hydrated. Weather updates will come to players via SMS text.
PLEASE NOTE: Sunday matches are all scheduled, but some changes could be made late Saturday to make Sunday’s schedule more efficient. Please watch for changes.
ANOTHER IMPORTANT NOTE: All draws are SINGLE ELIMINATION despite some labels that may indicate otherwise .
Please also note that if you did not complete the online pre-payment process before the entry deadline, your registration may have been discarded.
