First National Bank Russell County Open 2025 Draws are Now Released; Parking Information

The 2025 CKTS tournament season concludes this weekend (September 13-14) with the 2nd-annual First National Bank Russell County Open. This is the final stop on the 2025 Central Kentucky Tennis Series (CKTS) Tour where we are excited to welcome over 90 registered players this weekend in Russell Springs and Jamestown!

The draws for the 2025 First National Bank Russell County Open are now published with links to the draws here on our website.  The tournament will be based at the new Russell Co. High School courts (which are down the hill and behind the older courts), while a few matches will be played at Jamestown City Park. See the map below for the best driving/parking directions to the new RCHS courts. Tournament Director Nate McQueary has a great lineup of matches ready to roll. ALL TIMES LISTED ARE CENTRAL (aka “Slow Time”).

!!!PARKING!!! Although the new RCHS courts are very close to the old ones, it’s a different driving/parking route to the new courts. You’ll actually drive around the right of the Middle School and drive by the baseball stadium. Parking is at the new football stadium, with a short walk to the new tennis courts. Parking is currently limited (due to ongoing construction) at the football stadium, but additional parking will be available closer to the baseball stadium.  We appreciate your patience and understanding with the parking situation. We also appreciate your patience with all the other activities (and potential noise) that will be happening nearby on the football field: band practice, youth football games, etc. This may cause a “competition” for parking spaces.

DIRECTIONS: Take Louis B. Nunn Parkway exit in the direction of Jamestown. If heading south on US 127 (toward Jamestown), you will go through the stoplight at the Auditorium/Natatorium Complex and then take the next left into campus. Proceed around the right side of the Middle school and continue on, bearing right between the baseball stadium and the bus garage until you arrive at the football stadium. You may park there, or circle-back and park behind the baseball stadium.

Players should check-in at the event at least 20-30 minutes early. [AGAIN, ALL TIMES ARE CENTRAL DAYLIGHT TIME.] Bring your preferred drinks to stay hydrated. Weather updates will come to players via SMS text.

PLEASE NOTE that most Sunday matches are NOT YET be scheduled, pending the results of previous rounds in an effort to make Sunday scheduling more efficient.

ANOTHER IMPORTANT NOTE: All draws are SINGLE ELIMINATION despite some labels that may indicate otherwise.
