INDOOR PLAY this Weekend in BG; Draws Posted for Kids on the Block Points for Puppets Tournament
The 24th season season of the CKTS continues this weekend (August 15-16) in Bowling Green, Kentucky with the annual Kids on the Block Points for Puppets Tournament. This will be the second of two Tour stops in Bowling Green, where we are excited to welcome over 100 players competing this weekend.
Due to the forecasted heat index, the decision was made that this tournament will be INDOORS at the Warren Co. Tennis & Sports Facility (“Buchanon Park”). All matches are labeled “WCT” on the draws, representing the indoor facility.
This long-running event is a benefit for Kentucky Kids on the Block, an organization that provides ongoing education and prevention through puppetry for children and the community at large. Please visit their website for more information as well as a calendar of their events. The tournament is sponsored by Parker Lord and Foundation Solutions Group. As always, this tournament is under the direction of South Warren High Tennis Coach Chad Young.
The draws for 2026 Kids on the Block Points for Puppets Tournament are now published with a link to the draws here on our website. Players will report directly to the indoor site. Coach Chad would like to remind everyone that ALL TIMES LISTED ON THE DRAWS ARE CENTRAL DAYLIGHT TIME (aka “Slow Time”).
Players should check-in at the event at least 20 minutes early. [AGAIN, ALL TIMES ARE CENTRAL DAYLIGHT TIME.] Bring your preferred drinks to stay hydrated. Any changes or updates will come to players via SMS text.
PLEASE NOTE that although Sunday matches are scheduled, some times may be adjusted after Saturday play in an effort to make Sunday scheduling more efficient.
ANOTHER IMPORTANT NOTE: All draws are SINGLE ELIMINATION despite some labels that may indicate otherwise .
